Meet Our Teachers

Alicia Rypma

I have been a student of the art of movement from a very early age as I progressed through the levels of Gymnastics in Canada. I was honored to compete on the Canadian National Gymnastics team and earned a berth on Team Alberta. My training and passion in gymnastics grew into a love for practice and refinement. Gymnastics allowed me to feel pure courage and body power; however, GYROTONIC® and Qigong is where I began a practice of sensitivities of movement and the refinements of movement.

  • Certified as a Master Trainer by Juliu Horvath in 2002. I am currently one of only 250 Master Trainers in the World and continue to grow and learn in my practice daily.

  • Opened my own studio in 2003 and have been an owner/operator and personal GYROTONIC® practitioner since.

  • I have helped hundreds of clients find success in practiced movement for the improvement of their overall health and wellness.
